Insight Meditation is a process of bringing concentrated and relaxed attention to the movement of the breath going in and out of your body. By doing so, your mind is brought to rest, you learn how to work skillfully with distractions and discover you can stay focused with ease. When this is done, a deep calm pervades both your body and mind, and you touch into a state of tranquility which must be experienced to be understood.

Wendy is a long time practitioner of Insight Meditation. Her first teacher was Joseph Goldstein in 1981 and since then she has meditated daily. Wendy has completed numerous silent retreats at Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Mass., with Joan Halifax, and the Thai Forest Monk tradition. Wendy integrates the path of Insight Meditation with movement and creative process into the psychotherapeutic process.
